PERIPHERAL VISIONS • An impulse that reaches beyond cinematic categorization; there are no boxes to check here. A new media think tank that embraces modes of film and digital production on the margins of convention. Our research methods expand the notion of what new media and cinema means in an era of hybrid form and technological convergence. Academically inclined, our collaborative conversations and methods build bridges beyond university walls. Our lab functions as a space where internationally recognized faculty and visiting filmmakers create onsite projects as well as a teaching space for emerging mediamakers.
